Orchid - How To Make Intercompany/Inter Fund Management Easy with Orchid Systems AND An Overview of Bin Tracking

Orchid System’s Inter Entity Transactions module has a new Cash Management feature that processes AR Receipts, AP Payments or Bank Transfers in Bank Services across multiple databases. With the new GL Triggers functionality, it is now possible to eliminate the need to replicate all Accounts in the GL Chart of Accounts of the Source Company using GL Entity Substitutions. You can also reallocate GL Entries to AR Customers, AP Vendors or other GL Accounts in the same company.

The new IET TRADE module facilitates buying and selling between related companies by creating an AP Invoice automatically from an AR Invoice (and vice versa) as well as creating a PO Order, Receipt and Invoice from an OE Order, Shipment and Invoice respectively (and vice versa). A new “Chaining” feature allows you to create an OE Order to a PO Order to another OE Order. Hard to believe? Please come and see for yourself.

An overview of the Orchid Bin Tracking module with support for Serial & Lot Numbers will also be covered in this session. Bin Tracking allows you to specify multiple Bins for the same IC Item in the same IC Location for better management of items in a warehouse without the need for a full-blown Inventory Management System. All standard OE, PO and IC transactions are supported in Bin Tracking as well as RMA and other Third Party SDK based solutions such as AutoSimply Manufacturing and Pacific Technology’s Internal Issues.

Unfortunately not all business intelligence tools are right for all people. The BI software solution that is perfect for executives and managers is rarely the right fit for your clients’ non-managerial staff.
