Norming is one of ACCPAC’s solution providers and also a development partner. They began the partnership with ACCPAC as a value added reseller in 1999, and they implement the ACCPAC business management solution for clients around greater China.
In their implementation experience with the ACCPAC system, they found that ACCPAC does not make a complete solution; the ACCPAC Advantage Series only includes GL, AR, AP, IC, OE, PO, but their clients always need additional resources. As well, many third-party solutions were unable to satisfy their clients.

The Orion Point of Sale System is a standalone point of sale system designed to integrate with popular accounting systems. The system is a full featured point of sale application developed in Microsoft’s robust C# language on the new .Net platform.
The system works by extracting data from the accounting system and importing that data into the Point of Sale Database. Transactions can then be processed in the Point of Sale System and at the end of the day (or whenever makes sense to you), the data can be "Posted" back to the Accounting System.
From the operating perspective, the system looks to be fully integrated to the Accounting System with access to the Inventory and Customer Information.
